On Saturday, we booked a family photo shoot with Exclusive Studio’s. Ronel (the photographer) was wonderful with the kids, Barend and I. She made everyone feel very comfortable and relaxed.

Her studio is absolutely stunning and she caters for new born babies (they even have their own special room), families, portfolio’s, weddings and pregnant fairies.

I have found that some photographers have no personality or people skills, they are only too happy to just click away.
I think they forget that not everyone is a natural in front of the camera. Most people are camera shy and need guidance. I myself do not like having my photo taken. My sister was the one that got the photogenic genes – not me, so I need a lot of prompting.

I have had many dealings with photographers in the past and I can honestly say that this session was well worth our money spent.

Next year Ronel will take “New Born“ and “Anne Geddies” photo’s of our little Logan and we are looking forward to the photo shoot.

Aha! So this is where you hang out. I was wondering about that after meeting you the other day. Gorgeous photos…I’d also love to get some “Anne Geddes” shots done of squishy when she arrives.

Thanks! The “Anne Geddies” are absolutely beautiful, but we lost out with Abigail because she is too old – huh never thought I’d say that. She only does those pics up to 6 months, such a pitty.

I so do not like been in front of the camera, never did, hence the reason I stuck to ramp modelling:) I’ll leave the photographic modelling for the “photogenic” girls.
