Tomorrow “The Big Day”

Posted December 10th, 2009 by Leigh

To think that tomorrow around this time, I could be holding baby Logan. I have to be at the hospital as early as 6:00 am, I’m wondering if I’m going to get much sleep tonight. I am soo excited.

My gynecologist just called to ask if I want an epidural, I’ve decided not to have one. I just hope and pray that this delivery will be as quick as my first two. Apparently if I require one there will be a waiting period, guessing it is because they are short staffed.

Oh! well I’ve made up my mind and now I’m just praying for a quick delivery.

This is probably going to be my last post for some-time BUT that is probably not such a bad thing cause when I’m back into the swing of things I’m sure I’ll have lots to blog about.

I’ve not done any Christmas shopping, I’ve left my mom and husband in charge. A little strange for me to leave it up to others as I love Christmas shopping but this year I just couldn’t be bothered.

Christmas is my favourite time of the year. Barend and I were saying, last year we only had to buy Christmas presents for one child and this year we have to buy for three.

The age difference between Abigail and Logan will be 10 months “ouch”, everyone keeps telling me the first two years are going to be difficult but thereafter it is bliss. Oh! well we’ll take each day as it comes.

Children are such a precious gift and we are very fortunate to be blessed with three.

We are having Christmas at my sister-in-law and brother-in-law. Barend and I are very luck because both sides of our families get on really well. We always celebrate Christmas day together i.e. his folks / my folks / my sister / his sisters etc.

I guess this is it for now, until my next post………………….”Baby Logan’s Arrival”

Good luck for the delivery. I have twins and I can tell you, it’s rough, sleep is precious little, but the joys are great. We had 3 kids under 3!
