Fairy Girl

When I look back on 2009 I do so with such gratitude and with a smile. I have many happy memories of 2009 but unfortunately one or two sad ones too.

My granny passed away in March 2009, she is dearly missed by all of us
My brother Aaron flew out from the UK for the funeral, although it was during a sad time, it was lovely to spend some time with him.
Barend and I became the proud parents to a little angel, Abigail on the 28 January 2009
Joshua did very well at school and graduated to grade 3, we are so proud of him
Barend and I became proud parents to a little princess, Logan on the 11 December 2009
I decided to brand / make my own skin and body care range called Tranquil Body Treats, to be launched in Feb 2010. Sales in December were good!
My “surprise” trip to Clarens with my hubby was awesome
I started blogging and I have met wonderful bloggers
My best friend Yolanda gave birth to her baby girl, Ziane
Barend and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary. The past two years as Mrs. Burger have been absolutely wonderful. I have the most awesome husband!
My relationship with my mother has improved and is still improving
I have learnt to forgive and forget and make peace
My client base has picked up at the salon despite the recession
I was fortunate enough to see Hilary twice this year “yippee” (friend from CPT)
Two of my friends are pregnant Es and Helga
I met up with Laura after 3 years, it was wonderful to see her
I met up with my friend Cindy after 3 years, she returned from OZ
I survived being pregnant for almost 18 months
I survived two natural births in one year

I now look forward to 2010 and I believe it is going to be an “awesome” year !!!
