Easter Sunday

Posted April 14th, 2010 by Leigh

This is the first year that we celebrated Easter on our own, meaning no other family. Joshua helped the girls hunt for their Easter eggs, he was so excited. We found paw prints in the garden near the carrot we left for the bunny. Joshua assumed that the bunny was there early in the morning. He was so glad that he missed him, cause he believes that if he sees him then he doesn’t bring eggs again.

We had the Easter hunt in the morning and then had breakfast and headed off to the Lion and Rhino Farm. The Lion and Rhino Farm was packed. Unfortunately, we never got to see the feeding of the lions as there were way to many cars so we headed off to the wild dogs. Abigail was in her element, she loved watching the animals and she got to drive the car sitting on her daddies lap.

I wish I could cut myself into so many pieces and then I could spend all the special days with everyone.

Something completely captivating about kiddies with their easter eggs and faces covered in chocolate isn’t there?
