Never a dull moment

Posted July 21st, 2010 by Leigh

Our little Abigail is now a toddler, waddling around the house like she owns it.  She is determined, feisty, adorable and lovable.  She does not stop babbling and her tongue is always hanging out, waiting to say the next word.

She lights up the room when she waddles in.  She loves her mommy, daddy, brother and sister. Gogo is her hero.

She loves to play outside.

I wonder what will become of her one day, what will she choose to study, what career path will she choose.  I’m thinking she will be a Doctor or a Lawyer, because she is smart – no really she is. She has her daddies enquiring mind and becomes frustrated if she can’t master something.

She often makes me laugh, especially in the morning when I’m getting ready for work.  She watches me closely and applies her moisturiser and lip balm, her little bra gets wrapped  around her neck along with her beads.

She mimics whatever I say.  Did you know that her daddies name is Baaaaabbbe “babe” said as a little rhyme.

The other day I was giving her a timeout and as I started counting one…………….she politely interrupted saying two and that was that………..her timeout was over!

There is never a dull moment with our little Abigail around.

I also find myself thinking about what my children will become one day. Perhaps a Zoologist or a Caregiver. I can’t wait to see what they become and hope their dreams do come true.
