I agree. We have been in a full-on muslim country for the past 8 years. Both my children have been born here. I have read parts of the Quran and it honestly is the same thing as the Bible, same stories, interepreted in a different way. God is called by a different way and the regligion has its own idiosyncracies as does Christianity. Little traditions that doesnt really affect the believe itself, but rather just how people behave. I would be livid if someone made the one religion to be superior to the other cause it would be wrong, so very wrong. We are moving back now and we’ll have to get the kdis used to Sunday school and all the rest, here we do monday evening school not sunday school:) we call it children’s church and its a little bit of afrikaans in the middle of the desert:)

Ah, it’s that time of the year girl! I think about 70% of us feel rather overwhelmed. With us it is also working towards the December close and getting everything done before then. Enjoy that holiday -having that to look forward to surely helps a bit.

Awwww honey. Soooooo sorry that you have been going through a stressful time. You definitely need a break and I am sure that @Baldy and Josh understand that you are a bit tense.
Try to get some downtime this weekend and don’t think about TBT! Yes, I know it’s easier said than done.

btw…are you exercising? If not, PLEASE do something. Even if it is just a short walk every day. It will do WONDERS for stress relief – this I can TOTALLY promise you.

ps…I don’t go to The Paddocks very much because it’s far for me but I quite like it there. Whenever I go there it is busy, granted I’ve never gone there during the week.
