October 2007, I finally plucked up the courage and resigned from the “corporate” world. I was tired of the red tape, politics and managers that have no idea of the importance of family life.
I have always had a keen interest in the “beauty world”, in 1995 I owned Outlook Model Agency, where I was exposed to the importance of skin and body care. Hence, the reason I started studying “Beauty Therapy”’ in 2004.
In November 2007, I took a giant leap and launched The Tranquil Sanctuary. A small retreat (beauty salon) situated in Helderkruin, Roodepoort in the Greater Johannesburg area.
At The Tranquil Sanctuary, we offer a variety of skin care and body treatments from facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, reflexology and various massages.
Our aim is to provide our clients with the best possible treatments. Our purpose is to awaken your senses with refreshing treatments that will revitalise, energise and activate your body. We provide peaceful rejuvenation for the body, mind and soul. Our salon is truly “tranquil” .
There are no interruptions from other therapists / phones etc. and hygiene is of the utmost importance.
